It's a woman's world at Chef/owner Julia Sullivan's Judith, named for the first woman to matriculate at Sewanee: The University of the South. It's just off the main road that runs through this sleepy college town and is set in a large, bright warehouse that was once the Steam Laundry for the university. Inside, find a stylish blend with contemporary furniture and touches adding warmth to the industrial space. 
Chef Sullivan's cooking is talented, but the menu doesn't take itself too seriously, delivering crowd-pleasing dishes like chicken Milanese that isn't a strict interpretation but is just as delicious. A piping hot bowl of strawberry and rhubarb cobbler with a crust that's a cross between a cake and a biscuit is exactly how you'll want to end your meal.
